Wanted: Fresh air, not a polluted one
When we look into these type of marriages , it makes us to think as to why they need a separate party, first of all?
We can list down ‘n’ no. of guys who started their own party and later either dismantled or merged with some other party. I could recall few of them, as below…

They always make a mistake of judgment thinking that they can do what MGR did. Even, Jayalalitha could win back the mass support only after her faction’s merger with Janaki’s faction. MGR had such a huge support, due to his cine hero (well-wisher) image, which made him to start his own party, after his exit from DMK.
Eventhough the above politicians / actors have support of the people of a small section, it may be due to their caste or for professional glamour. Definitely, not for other issues which they claim to eradicate / solve.
If we need a new political party to uproot the Dravidian parties from power, it needs lot of work from the grass root level and it may take even another 10 years to come to the power. May be Vai Ko has the ability to do it… But it depends, whether the corruption & mismanagement skills of the existing parties will be carried to the new party as well. In that case, induction of a new team won’t bring a change in the system.
Am not sure still, if we will be able to see a new refreshing team soon, free of the existing political evils.

The 'tamaasha' has just begun. Wait for more of these things happen till end of election... all soaps/serials will take second seat. Even the movies. now on for full-time entertainment watch election news.
politics-la ellam logic partha eppadi..either we should take charge or treat it as a game and watch...
i used to criticize captain a lot, but at least he has the guts to stand the elections alone (at least until now) many talk about change, but he is acting on it ... lets see
The Dravidian era of TN politics has run out of its usefulness if it had any in the first place. Tamil fanaticism and caste politics needs to be discouraged. But I have no clue how this is possible. Or if it is possible at all.
The lokparitran is a great group with a noble endeavour. One of my friends is a possible candidate for TN Elections from Lokparitran.
Please stop calling it the party of IITians. We non-IITians feel alienated.
Completely agree with you.. Kannappan was the symbol of corruption in the previous regime of JJ.. He should have been kept out by DMK but u know, he has got Vitamin M to donate to MK..
I dont see any light in the political horizon.. Vijaykanth may be good but he is an infant in the gamefield and it would take a miracle to push him to power..
Sivaji started his own party (Tamizhaga Munnetra Munnani, i guess) and he himself lost deposit in Thiruvaiyaaru.....
The one leader whom IMHO, thought had some flesh in his B**t ...has succumbed.!! I mean Vi.ko.!
Let's hope and pray we get a strong leader for our future.!!

Nothing but to get more money from industrialists and to make their dream cme true. If JJ goign to go on this election without MGR's RettaiElai..she may loss lot of votes
KM... I agree with you that 'Rettai Ilai' does the magic still. But there is no more heir to that symbol, other than this Iron lady.
